Creating a Strong Google Image

By: Mike McCoy

Did you know that before most people today will do business with you, they will search the Internet to get a feel for who you are, how you do business and what others think about you? In today's competitive world, the first step to making sure your internet business succeeds is to have a strong image on the search engine Google.

Simply put, your company's Google image is defined as what is seen on the first page of Google when people search for your business/name.

In the internet realm, your search engine image is your resume; and online "business card". And when it comes to your online business card, you should do everything you can to make sure it's impressive.
Your goal is to make sure that no matter where a person looks for information online concerning the subject of your website or business, they always find information about you.

One simple way to build a better and faster internet presence is to gain lots and lots of links that point back to your website. In doing so, you will be able to dominate your niche on the internet.

You can either do this yourself or enlist the help of a search engine marketing specialist. Be careful, however, to make sure that the search engine marketing firm you choose to with is not using "black hat" tactics that could cause search engines to penalize your site and make it even harder for internet users to find.

If you choose to go the do-it-yourself route, an easy way to being is with article marketing. You'll write articles that pertain to your topic of expertise and submit them to free online article submission sites.
The articles should be short and full of helpful information to the reader. Your aim in writing the article is not only to pull more traffic to your website, but to also teach the reader something new or to help them solve a problem.

Keep the length between 400 and 700 words, otherwise, most article submission websites won't be able to accept them. When you're done polishing your articles, submit them to article submission websites.

The links to your website in these articles will alert the search engines that you and your website are an authority on your chosen topics and will help rank your website higher in the search engines.
Viola! Instant enhanced web presence! Give it a try and see what it does for your traffic stats.
